Over the past year, we have been on quite the roller coaster ride with the child that was “our easy kid”. I wanted to share this with you because I feel it’s SO important to know these stories so that if you ever need to cross a similar bridge, you’re not starting from scratch. In a nutshell, what we thought was a possible eating disorder (anorexia) wasn’t. It turned out to be a whole different beast that we can now say we’ve slayed. Had I followed all of the rules (that I know and love) about picky eating, we may not have been able to get a handle on this problem as quickly as we did. Can I tell you: it’s been a LONG year.
