Category: Food Intolerance

A food intolerance is similar to a food allergy, however, an intolerance does not cause anaphylaxis. Learn all about how a food intolerance works, and how you can manage it day-to-day. For some people with a food intolerance, there is a root cause and with the right medical team, the intolerance may be reversed over time.

It’s important to note that an intolerance can be just as painful and life-altering as an allergy. Food intolerances should not be ignored, or pushed aside as if they’re “not real” which is what some people have been told by professionals. Being in pain from the food you eat is not normal, and should be addressed.
