Kid Three and I thought it would be a great idea to make homemade egg rolls, and this delicious recipe was going to be our filling. The kids are in love with the flavours, and there’s a bit of an Asian flare, so I thought, let’s go for it.
Free-From Tip: If you’re going to use rice paper wrappers as an egg roll wrapper, MANAGE your expectations.
Whilst the egg rolls need a different approach, this filling is on point. The kids also think this would be delicious on top of something as basic as a pizza bread. For those with a phyllo-type option, that would be another fun application. If all else fails, serve this over steamed rice and you won’t be upset 🙂
