If you were at the Nourished Festival online in November, this is the delicious waffle I showed you how to make. Kid Two is such a huge fan of these waffles, especially when they’re fresh out of the waffle maker. He says they have an amazing crispy exterior and a wonderful soft interior. He adds though that the longer the waffles sit out, they lose quite a bit of the crisp.
Now, I don’t know if you’ll get the same level of crisp with the average waffle maker. The double waffle maker I use has a tendency to crisp waffles nicely when compared to the baby cakes waffle maker I also have.
