OK you guys, I am SOOOO EXCITED for this new cake tutorial!! I don’t know what it is about construction cake that’s got me all happy, but it’s just so cool. The best part is that you don’t have to make this only for a little kid, but adults too. I made this for The Papa’s birthday and he absolutely loved it.
For those who are corn free, you can make this happen as well, but you’ll need to make some cookies at home first for the crumbs. More on that below.
Since this is a two tiered cake, today I’m using:
- Bakery Chocolate Cake Recipe
- Bakery Cinnamon Ginger Frosting
- Bakery Pink Peppermint Frosting
- Bakery Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
The cinnamon ginger frosting was used on the large tier and pink peppermint frosting on the small tier.
