We’ve been experimenting with game meats a bit more as of late since I know some of you enjoy this type of protein. This stew has been given the stamp of approval by not only Kid Four, but by people who don’t really like venison too much.
If you’ve never had juniper berries before, you’re in for a real treat. They have a fragrant somewhat floral aroma with hints of pine. I’m honestly looking for more reasons to use them 🙂
For those who aren’t into venison, you could substitute it with beef or bison and still have a delicious outcome.
