Around here, chili is a fan favourite. It’s a recipe that’s delicious both hot and cold, making it wonderful for packed lunches, and dinner time as well. This chili also freezes well, meaning I can prep and freeze to my heart’s content. Today’s chili recipe takes on a new addition: bacon.

Have you heard that bacon can be an ingredient (rather than a stand alone food)? Whilst people say this jokingly, some of us take it to heart… myself included. There’s just something so special about bacon and its ability to make a recipe extra tasty, and this chili is no exception.
