Did you happen to see the episode of Monday Night Live when Colleen from Zego Foods dropped by? It was a mega surprise and she had music playing and brought the absolute sweetest care package for our family. She loaded the kids up with their favorite Zego snack bars, and a new flavor to try.
Now, we all know how I feel about chocolate, so I’ve been on the fence about the idea of taking the perfect berry Zego bars and adding chocolate… well, just wait until you see what the kids had to say (especially Kid Two).
Side note, for those of you who don’t know about Zgeo. Their products are all top 8 allergy free (and more), made on dedicated top 8 free equipment in a top 8 free facility. They’re also corn free and have some of the best ingredient labels for our community.
Zego Foods Decadence Berry Chocolate Bar Review
Kid Two: mmmmmm… It’s the exact same thing as the raspberry bar (everyone’s favorite) but this one is way better. The addition of chocolate chips make it SO much better. It’s like my favorite bar plus chocolate. This is now my favorite bar. (I was like, really, and he was like, YES)
Kid Three: I don’t like the combination of fruits and chocolate in general except for chocolate covered banana and chocolate covered strawberries. This one isn’t for me.
Kid Four: I like it! I agree with Kid Three, but I do also really like this bar. This is really good. I don’t like chocolates that have fruit in it a lot of the time, but this I really like. (she then fought with Kid Two over who got to add the extras to their snack bin)
It’s no secret that I love all things Zego Foods. What Colleen is doing to help the food allergy and restricted diet community is simply astounding. This bar is further proof that she makes a delicious product. When Kid Four who normally wouldn’t eat something like this enjoys it, you know you’ve got magic. Also, anyone who brings Kid Two a smile like that will always have a special place in my heart.
Also, be sure to add Zego bars to your back to school shopping. They’re perfect for lunch boxes.
