Red Plate Foods Product Reviews (Gluten Free, Vegan, Top 8 Allergy Free)

Red Plate Foods Products

We’re back with another Red Plate Foods product review. The ladies in charge were in the area at a show and made a super special delivery to the house. We were able to spend time with them and have a great time. Honestly, I wish you could all meet them. I like to say the owner is my twin. We have a lot of similar medical issues, but also have this PASSION to create safe and delicious foods.

It’s so interesting how we’re all talented in different ways, and to see how we genuinely come together as a community to serve the greater good. I honestly can’t say enough good things about them and spoiler alert: the kids have a lot of great things to say too.

Also, I don’t want to forget to tell you: Red Plate Foods has a whole food service line. Did you know they make burger buns? I learned this and was like whaaaaaat?? So, if you have a restaurant in your area that you love, let them know about Red Plate Foods.

Red Plate Foods Lemon Blueberry Muffin

Kid Two: Oh yeah, I can taste the ginger too (said in response to Kid Three)
Kid Three: Seems gingery to me. It becomes like frosting when you chew it in a weird way.
Kid Four: Tastes like something familiar. I don’t taste the ginger. I don’t really like it though. This reminds me of an Annie’s cracker in muffin form.

Red Plate Foods Cinnamon Granola

I found it interesting: there’s ginger in this granola. I also suggested to the kids that this would make an excellent alternative to cereal.
Kid Two: I taste graham cracker. I’d eat a small package, but not a whole bowl in the morning.
Kid Three: You’re right, this would make a good cereal. it’s actually quite good, and I would put it in my yogurt. This granola reminds me of maybe an Annie’s crackers.
Kid Four: It’s OK i guess. It doesn’t behave the way normal granola does. It’s softer? This is a great serving size. It tastes like Cascadian Farms Organic Cinnamon Toast Crunch, sort of. (she went on to eat a lot more of this… so much for it being just OK, lol)

Red Plate Foods Chocolate Granola

Kid Two: I think it tastes good, but there’s a bad aftertaste in a chocolate way.
Kid Three: There’s a chocolate chip in here. I don’t love that particular brand of chocolate chip, whatever it is. I’m not a fan of the taste and it stings a little bit. I agree on the cinnamon (responding to Kid Four)
Kid Four: I like the cinnamon granola better. This one is kind of bitter for me, mainly because of the chocolate chip they used.

Red Plate Foods Chocolate Chip Sandwich Cookie

Kid Two: LOVE!
Kid Three: I like how soft the cookie is, and the cream too. This is a really good combo. It is sugary for me… like, I can taste the sugar.
Kid Four: I like it! I like the chocolate chips in this one. Not sure if it’s the same as the granola. I love the perfect fusion of the flavors. The cookie and the cream come together perfectly. Also, it’s nice and soft.

Red Plate Foods Double Chocolate Sandwich Cupcake

Kid Two: I don’t know why, but all of this chocolate doesn’t go with the cream as well as it did with the chocolate chip cookie version.
Kid Three: This one is too bitter for me. Interesting because there’s more sugar in this one, but there’s still a bitterness.
Kid Four: I don’ like this one as much as the chocolate chip version. Not sure why.

Red Plate Foods Chocolate Cupcake

Kid Two: The cake is lovely, but I’m not a fan of the frosting on this one.
Kid Three: They make good cupcakes!
Kid Four: I agree with Kid Two. The cake is good, but I’ll skip the frosting on this one.

Final Thoughts

I don’t really care what the kids think. TRY THESE. Try them all at least once and support an amazing company. I will say: I’m looking forward to incorporating the granola into some different treats. I’m thinking a muffin, and a faux rice crispy style bar.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. I just love these guys to bits. Their mission is on point, and they are trying to make the world a MUCH better place for people with food restrictions. They have a dedicated facility, and are some of the nicest people you’d ever meet.
