Pumpkin waffles are a new favourite around here. What’s even better is that they’re gluten free pumpkin waffles. Now, if you have little kids, or you’re a single person, you may find that buying safe frozen waffles is a good option for you. Nature’s Path has frozen waffles that are safe for many, but double check labels as they’ve made a lot of changes recently.
I opt to make my own waffles for the kids simply because of the price. For what it costs to make four giant waffles for the kids, it would cost 2 to 3 times as much to purchase the store bough equivalent. The other reason I make my own: no risk of cross contamination. It also gives me the ability to experiment with different waffle combos that you don’t have access to in stores.
If you don’t have a waffle maker yet, there are a lot to choose from on amazon. I purchased mine years ago from Costco. It’s the Waring Pro Double Waffle Maker. Now a days, you can get something nearly identical from Cuisinart.
Enough about waffle makers 🙂 These pumpkin waffles are so incredibly tasty, and perfect for any fall morning (or evening). Now, let’s get cooking.
