Kid Three does not like pineapple, yet when he hears that this is on the menu, his face just lights up. It’s like he’s hit the jackpot, and it makes me smile each time. For those who may be sensitive to pineapple, I’ve found that cooking the pineapple with the pork helps reduce the acidity.

Pizza Tip
Use the meat mix as a “sausage” on homemade pizza. We’ve been doing that for years and it also happens to be one of the kids’ favourite pizza flavours.
