You know I love ice cream, right? Like, loooooovvveeeeeeee ice cream… So it’s not uncommon for me to think up new ways all the time to create diary free ice cream so the kids have an excuse to enjoy it.
Truth is, I’ve been doing this to them for years, but the reality is, I’ve been making them better-for-you dairy free ice cream recipes (often refined sugar free too) so they could see they could still enjoy dessert without all the not-so-great ingredients.
Here’s what the kids love about this recipe: It has a rich and creamy texture (thank you bananas). If you’re new to dairy free ice cream making, be sure to include an ingredient that will lend texture such as banana, coconut, or avocado.
