I’m sharing another of The Papa’s breakfast/lunch salad meat recipes that he (and Kid Three & Kid Four) adore. This was one of their top favorites and Kid Four is convinced it’s because of the added pork. The blend of meats (and thus change in fat percentage) makes quite the difference.
You can use this meat on pizzas, for pasta, on a sandwich, and anywhere else you’d like a flavorful ground meat. For those who can’t have beef, you can either use all pork, or exchange the beef for ground bison or ground turkey.
This meat mix is also a great base for sauces. If you like a hearty cream sauce, red sauce, or rose sauce, this is SUCH a good foundation.
