So many people were interested in learning more about cast iron, so today I’m sharing a little more information on the topic, and how it pertains to people with food allergies.
You will often hear me say that non-stick remembers, which is why this is the first cast iron pan we’ve ever purchased, AND we did it for fun. This is not something I’ll be using for everyday cooking.
In addition to that, cast iron is not dishwasher safe, which poses another problem for those with severe food allergies (especially in a mixed allergy household).
Your cookware and bakeware workflow will be unique to you and that’s OK.
