This is one of our old family recipes that has been so good to us over the years, and has provided the kids with so may warm memories. This is a gluten free cut out cookie recipe where I encourage you to get your kiddos involved. They can roll dough, choose cookie cutters, and help decorate the shortbread cookies too.
If you’d like to use a vanilla glaze (contains cane sugar) this recipe is a good help.
Snack Tip: When the kids were little, since these cookies are refined sugar free, I’d sometimes pull some out of the freezer (unglazed) as an afternoon snack served with a bit of milk and veggies. With glaze, totally not a snack in my humble opinion.
