Easy Cooking Video: Strawberry Rose Waffles, Gluten Free, Top 8 Free

Gluten Free Vegan Strawberry Rose Waffles by The Allergy Chef

I just love waffles. Everything about them is awesome. I also love that we make gluten free vegan waffles that taste so good, everyone enjoys them. That’s especially important to me because if you’re living in a mixed allergy household, it can be SO hard to manage meal A for person 1, meal B for person 2 and so on. By having delicious gluten free, vegan, top 8 free recipes, everyone can sit down to a single meal together. It also means less cooking equipment in your home. Around here, strawberries are a family favorite, so it was time to make a strawberry waffle recipe.

Today’s allergy friendly waffle recipe I’m told has to officially be called “Hint of Rose Strawberry Waffles”. The kids say that the flavors are balanced, but the rose isn’t in your face. If you’d like more of a rose punch, either make a rose syrup to dip your waffles in, or use more rose in your recipe.

Like all of our other gluten free waffle recipes, these freeze well and you can also make the batter and leave it in the fridge to use over the course of 3 days. Both options are a win-win in my prep book 🙂

Why We Don’t Consider This Corn Free

If you’re living with a severe corn allergy, it will be nearly impossible to source safe strawberries and rose for this recipe. However, if you are corn intolerant, or are in the boat where you’re only free from corn starch/flour etc. (“corn lite”), you may be able to tolerate this recipe. When we label our recipes, we always keep those with the most severe allergy in mind.
