Classic Pomodoro Sauce Recipe (Vegan, Top 8 Allergy Free)

Classic Pomodoro Sauce by The Allergy Chef

Today I’m sharing a classic pomodoro (tomato) sauce recipe. This recipe can be enjoyed as is with pasta, toast, and other carbs you enjoy. It also pairs well with eggs for those who can have egg.

Pomodoro sauce is a foundational sauce that you can take and build on. Traditionally it contains tree nuts, and often times wheat/gluten/bread. You can other ingredients such as olives and capers for a whole different flavour profile. We’ll be making this sauce to use as part of this enchilada sauce recipe.

*This is one pot recipe if your broth is made in advance.
