Whilst lime cake wasn’t a top seller at the bakery, for those who enjoy lime, this cake was a HIT. I think with some flavours, there’s a hesitation for customers because it’s not the normal options available at most places. However, that’s exactly what set Free and Friendly Foods apart. One of my key goals was to create flavour options for free-from folks that quite frankly, they wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else in the country.
In case you don’t know: mission accomplished. Lime cake was generally more popular in the spring, and many customers purchased it for events where something green was needed.
