Kid Two sometimes likes to think up interesting food/ingredient combinations. I think he gets that from me. Somehow we got to talking about pizzas, quesadillas, and double decker sandwiches. A few days later, just for fun, I made this. The kids were BLOWN AWAY and insisted that it become a thing around here.
I can tell you this now, years later: this recipe, like Pineapple Pork Balls, is a love hate thing for me. I love that the kids love it, and I hate that it’s all they ever want to eat. I’m like, what fun food adventure should we go on today?? They say Pineapple Pork Balls. I say no. They say, Monstrosity? I say no… never mind.
