When the kids were younger, this is something I enjoyed making for them in the mornings. I was able to create several variations based on the ratios to rotate through. This dairy free creamy cookup is especially fantastic on cold winter mornings.
Should you opt for making this in the morning, prep the produce and sausage in advance. I used to do that and it made the morning cooking fly by.
