Today I want to share with you a gluten free, vegan, top 9 free gender reveal cake I made. I was asked for a specific design on the outside, which you can achieve with an angled/offset spatula.
To make this cake, I used 2 layers of chocolate cake and 1 layer of chocolate chip cake. Honestly, any type of cake will work. Here are some cake recipes on RAISE to get you started.

- Decorating Bag (we like Wilton)
- Cake Turntable
- Angled Spatula
Once your cake has cooled, crumb coat it as you normally would. However, use the color frosting you’d like for the gender reveal in the center (filling). I was sure to put up a nice vanilla barrier of frosting to ensure none of the gender filling was visible in the end.
