Today I want to share with you a gluten free, vegan, top 8 allergy free gender reveal cake we made. We were asked for a specific design on the outside, which you can achieve with an angled spatula.
To make this cake, we used 2 layers of chocolate cake and 1 layer of chocolate chip cake. Honestly, any type of cake will work. Here are some cake recipes on RAISE to get you started.

- Decorating Bag (we like Wilton)
- Cake Turntable
- Angled Spatula
Once your cake has cooled, crumb coat it as you normally would. However, use the color frosting you’d like for the gender reveal in the center. We were sure to put up a nice vanilla barrier of frosting to ensure none of the gender filling was visible in the end.
