Today I’ll be sharing a recipe for a Faux Gluten Free Shepherd’s Pie, also called Cottage Pie. The two terms are used interchangeably in modern times. The key difference is traditionally, a shepherd’s pie uses minced lamb, and cottage pie uses minced beef. In my case, I won’t be using either. Additionally, I won’t have a crust layer, and we’re using organic sweet potatoes so more people are included.
The nice thing about this paleo friendly recipe is that you’ll see the ratios, and should you choose to use a different protein or potato, the exchange will be easy to make.
