Enjoy Life Foods Peppermint Bark Cookies

Me: I can’t put my finger on it, but it has a familiar smell…

Kid Two: This may be the best thing I’ve sampled today. This reminds me of the old Peppermint Luna Bars we use to have.

Kid Three: Ugh, gross weird noises. Tastes like a Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookie gone wrong. The aftertaste is not that bad. It makes it a little bit worth it.

Kid Four: I’m so excited to try these. They look good. They smell good. Tastes gross. It doesn’t taste like peppermint. (Me: Why are you eating more if you don’t like it?) Her: Because it’s a cookie.

Kid Two: Mmmmm. This tastes identical to a bar that I’ve had before (doesn’t remember which) It tastes like a sweetened apple bar. Generally, I like it. However, I don’t know if they’re worth the calories. I’d rather eat the Peppermint cookies instead.

Kid Three: I agree with Kid Four. The bar would be really cool with jelly inside. They taste really good and they do remind me of fig cookies. Overall, I’d eat a box.

Kid Four: It tastes good. It’s like those bars that weren’t organic that we use to buy a looonnnnggg time ago? That’s what this reminds me of. It’s good. If they made these into a bar shape and filled it with jelly they’d be identical. I would eat an entire box of these. I’d probably eat a box of the other flavor too, because I’m a child and they’re cookies. (She’s a teen by the way).
