I get that the idea of a peach pizza sauce can be like… what? Let me tell you… you’re going to be happy when you make this and create a delicious pizza with it. In fact, Kid Two was a skeptic, then he ate it and was like… this is my new favourite pizza ever. This sauce brings a unique flavour profile, but in the end, it’s tomato free, dairy free, and friendly to a lot of people. Pair this sauce with the Peach & Bacon Pizza recipe to give your taste buds an exquisite experience. The kids could NOT stop talking about how delicious that particular pizza is. Other Applications: This would be scrumptious on toast or with raw veggies as a dip. I opted for Kite Hill because of the dairy free equipment. Ingredients Dairy Free Peach Pizza Sauce (Tomato Free, Vegan) Print Ingredients Use Cmd/Ctrl + P to print everything. Directions Start by placing your yogurt, cashews, milk, peaches, and maple sugar into your blender. Blend until ultra smooth. For the peaches, I used Cascadian Farms frozen peaches that were thawed. With the extra peaches, I made the Peach & Bacon Pizza recipe. Once your blending is done, heat a large non-stick pan on medium-high heat (7/10 for me). Melt your dairy free butter, then add the thawed spinach and 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes. Then add everything from your blender, liquid smoke, and the 2 Tablespoons of maple sugar. Reduce the heat to medium (4/10 for me). Mix everything together very well and cook for up to 10 minutes. Stir as needed to prevent any sticking/burning. Your sauce will be thick and paste-like when it’s finished. **NOTE: I called Kite Hill and they said the “starch” in this yogurt is corn.
