Today I’ll be sharing a delicious pizza sauce that’s thick and full of flavour. This top 9 free sauce came about over a disagreement around here. Pizza sauce: should it be thick or thin? No one could agree and of course the internet was of little help. So, I decided it would be best to have both options.
Interestingly, everyone is LOVING both the thin and chunky pizza sauce and this thick pizza sauce recipe. At the end of the day, it really seems like it’s all about the flavour profile. I’ll also add that I don’t skimp on toppings, meaning the sauce is not the star of the show. If you’re planning to make a lightly topped pizza, check out the thin pizza sauce recipe, as that may serve you better.
This sauce pairs well with the Bacon & Brussels Sprout Pizza recipe as well as the Ricotta & Onion Pizza Recipe.
