Kumquats are so interesting. They start off sweet, and you think, oh this is good. Then, boom! The sour hits you really hard, and you start to wonder why on earth you decided to try one. Then, you eat another one. The kids have a love-hate relationship with these, yet they love making juice with kumquats. They lend just the right amount of sour to make a tasty juice.
This juice recipe would also work well as the liquid portion for this pie filling recipe.
