Did you see the tasty Breakfast Potatoes posted yesterday? It’s the companion recipe to the amazing smoothie recipe shared today. When the kids were little, we had a Friday Frosty and Fries tradition. Each Friday morning, I’d make them a better-for-you Frosty knockoff featuring banana, ice, non-dairy milk, and a few other things. They were IN LOVE with Friday mornings. However, you all know how much I enjoy creating without writing things down… I can honestly say, the original Frosty knockoff was the greatest loss we have ever suffered in the kitchen. I genuinely have no idea what made it so good, and we’ve never gotten back to that place. However, none of that matters because I decided to start experimenting will all sorts of chocolate smoothies until we landed on this one.
Today’s dairy free, top 8 free, delicious chocolate smoothie… I’ve been told it’s like amazing candy in a cup. Here’s the best part: there are vegetables in today’s smoothie!! A few years ago, our good friend Krysten at Krysten’s Kitchen did a video of her smoothie one morning, and she used frozen veggies. It changed our lives forever 🙂
