Today I want to share why it’s critical to get to neutral, where reactions are concerned. Keeping a food journal is a HUGE part of reaching this point. I will say, it takes a lot of self-discipline to keep the journal, and to respond to it. When reactions aren’t life-threatening, it can be easy to tell ourselves “it’s not that bad” and continue to eat foods that aren’t working for us. However, if you can overcome those thoughts and push forward, neutral is waiting for you, and it’s amazing.
If you are managing the allergies/intolerances of a child, it’s even more important to get them to neutral. Many parents want to introduce new foods, however, if someone isn’t neutral, introducing new foods can be very problematic.
