It feels like lately, all of my pastry creations start with a wild idea, or some kind of off the wall question. Today’s question was: how can I take a lemon cake and elevate it something you’d find in a fine-dining restaurant? How can I take a lemon cake and just transform it into something you’re not expecting? This friends is my delicious answer to the question.
The taste testers have loved this cake so much that it’s been made several times and brought to parties. When you make the full pastry tart assembly, I’m told it’s just magic on a plate.
