Gather round game meat fans! Today we’re making a tomato free ragu featuring venison. You can also swap the venison for other meats, or even create a blend (my kids love venison + ground bacon). What I really like about this recipe is the tomato free elment.
Usually a ragu is tomato based, so we’re going to maintain the rich layers of flavour whilst also taking some less common allergens for those of you who need it. Let’s get cooking!
