I’D GIVE THIS CAKE SIX STARS OUT OF FIVE. Yes, I’m yelling because what?! Kid Two has declared this cake recipe to be one of the best I have ever made and everyone agrees with him.
I’m going to warn you in advance, this cake has quite a few moving parts. However, if you like apple, you’re going to love this one. Interestingly, I gave myself the brief to leave cinnamon out. Some of you reading are allergic to cinnamon and generally, a lot of apple focused recipes in books and online are paired with cinnamon and nutmeg. Not today friends.
